Sophie Cunningham felt like an 'idiot' after trying Lane Kiffin's favorite hobby - The Mirror US

Sophie Cunningham continues to spice up the internet.

WNBA star Sophie Cunningham has been half-naked all week. She made waves by being featured in the 2026 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. Joining her in this iconic edition are fellow WNBA star Napheesa Collier and USA Track and Field sprinter Melissa Jefferson-Wooden.

The photoshoot took place at South Seas Resort in Fort Myers, Florida. With her new swimsuit photos, Cunningham has once again established that she can not only ace the court game but also the fashion game. The athlete looked jaw-dropping gorgeous in a daring white bikini as she posed on the beach for the cameras.

This marked a significant moment in her career, showcasing her ability to excel both on and off the court. Cunningham’s feature aligns with her growing personal brand, which includes media appearances and a new role as a WNBA contributor for USA Network.

Her week was just getting started. Sophie Cunningham took to her TikTok this week to post her latest swimsuit look. In the video, Cunningham starts out in a gray sweater, holding a basketball on her shoulder. Her video then transitions to her in a striking black swimsuit that leaves very little to the imagination.

The voiceover on the video says, “I have an alter ego. Her name is Tatiana. Usually when I’m writing, or I’m on stage, I, like, kind of black out.” That voice is from Tate McRae.

Off the court is just fine for her. On the court is still in question. Cunningham’s return to Indiana has raised questions.

She is looking for a long-term contract and is open to a big jump to her $100,000 salary in 2025. Before a knee injury cut her season short, Cunningham was having a great season. She averaged 8.6 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 1.7 three-pointers per game while shooting 46.9% from the field.
