The former WWE Undisputed Champion, Roman Reigns, may be on hiatus from the company following his championship loss to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40. Reigns has been keeping himself busy with outside film projects and will still have a presence with WWE from behind the scenes. We do expect Roman to be back on WWE television at some point down the road. When that will happen is up in the air, but we could at least speculate it to be around SummerSlam, at the earliest possible date. Today, we will focus on The Tribal Chief’s Hollywood and future WWE career prospects.
Roman Reigns Has Appeared In Hollywood Film & TV Projects
Roman Reigns Was In ‘Hobbs & Shaw’ With The Rock
With Roman Reigns planning to enter future films and potential television appearances in the near future, this is not the first time that we’ve seen the Tribal Chief in a movie or appearing as a special guest in a television series. Roman Reigns has made movie appearances dating back to 2016, beginning with the WWE film, Countdown, co-starring Dolph Ziggler, Katharine Isabelle, and WWE Hall of Famer, Kane. He also provided his voice for the cartoon movie The Jetsons & WWE: Robo-WrestleMania! playing himself.
The next three film projects included Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw, playing as Mateo Hobbs alongside Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. In 2020, he appeared in the Netflix comedy film The Wrong Missy starring David Spade and Nick Swardson. His last film credit came in 2021 for the animated sports comedy film for Paramount Plus titled Rumble as the voice of Ramarilla Jackson.
Outside of various outside WWE related projects, he did appear in the television series, Cousins for Life in 2019 as the character “Rodney” in the episode titled: “Farewell to Arthur?”. Reigns also had one more television series appearance for the show Elena of Avalor, lending his voice for the character “Kizin”.
Does Roman Reigns Have A Future In Hollywood?
Roman Reigns appears to have his hands full of outside projects following his WrestleMania loss to Cody Rhodes. A new photo was leaked out that shows Reigns working on a new Hollywood project. According to SEScoops, the Tribal Chief will be appearing in a heist-style comedy film called Good Fortune that will be released in late 2024. The movie will star Keanu Reeves, Keke Palmer, Sandra Oh, and Seth Rogan. Aziz Ansari will be making his directorial debut.

Not much is known about Roman Reigns’ role in the film, but we can see from the picture (shown above) that he seems to be right at home sitting on a throne surrounded by beautiful women. No other film projects or television roles have been announced yet for Roman, but we would not be surprised if he takes on other projects while he’s away from WWE.
Roman Reigns Will Still Have A Say In WWE Behind The Scenes

As we saw on the most recent episode of WWE SmackDown, Tama Tonga made his shocking yet surprising WWE debut as he and Solo Sikoa turned on Jimmy Uso. The Bloodline’s wiseman and WWE Hall of Famer, Paul Heyman, stood by in absolute shock and dismay at what happened.
When forcefully told by Solo Sikoa to go along with them, Heyman seemed confused and wasn’t sure what to make of the situation. As noted, Roman Reigns is out of the picture for the time being, so when Heyman went to make the call to the Tribal Chief, the cellphone was knocked away from him by Sikoa. This appears to be a new day and a new era for The Bloodline, with Solo Sikoa taking over and seemingly referring to himself now as the new “Tribal Chief” in Roman’s absence. This will apparently set up the perfect window of opportunity for Roman Reigns’ future return and set the story up for a Bloodline tribal war between Reigns and Solo that could occur at SummerSlam.

Seventeen years ago, Eminem hit the lowest point of his life — staring at himself in the mirror and realizing, “I’m going to die if I don’t do something.” In a rare and emotional reflection, the rapper opened up about the moment that forced him to choose between fame and survival. Friends recall him barely recognizable, a ghost of the man who once ruled the stage, until one night he simply said, “Enough.” His journey to sobriety, marked by relapses, rehab, and raw honesty, has since become one of hip-hop’s most powerful comeback stories. “He didn’t just save his career — he saved his soul,” a longtime producer told Rolling Stone. Fans on social media flooded the comments with one word that said it all: respect.
