An air ambulance was urgently dispatched to the rocker’s countryside estate, Welders House, in Buckinghamshire, England, around 10:30 a.m. local time on Tuesday. According to local reports, the emergency chopper landed on the sprawling property just 15 minutes after taking off from RAF Benson, roughly 27 miles away.

Paramedics reportedly worked for nearly two hours trying to resuscitate the 76-year-old Black Sabbath frontman, who had long battled declining health. Despite their efforts, Ozzy was pronounced dead at the scene.
