The Indiana Pacers are on the road on Saturday night as they travel to take on the Denver Nuggets in an interconference matchup.

It has been a rough start to the season for the Pacers as they enter Saturday’s game with a disappointing 1-7 record after losing to the Brooklyn Nets at home on Wednesday night.

In Wednesday’s loss to the Nets, Pascal Siakam led the way for the Pacers as he recorded 23 points, six rebounds and 10 assists while Ben Sheppard added 18 points, four rebounds and three assists of his own.

Now the Pacers will try to bounce back as they look to pick up their second victory of the season in Saturday’s matchup against a tough Nuggets team.

On the other side, the Nuggets enter Saturday’s game with a 6-2 record after defeating the Golden State Warriors at home on Friday night.

Nikola Jokic led the way for the Nuggets in Friday’s victory as he ended the game with 26 points, nine rebounds and nine assists while Jamal Murray recorded 23 points, four rebounds and eight assists.

While both teams are looking for a key victory in Saturday’s game, one team may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

Pacers Injury Report, Will Bennedict Mathurin, Andrew Nembhard Play?

For the Pacers, they have eight players listed on their injury report for Saturday’s game as their roster continues to be decimated by injuries to begin the season.

Indiana has listed Andrew Nembhard as questionable for Saturday’s game due to a left shoulder strain that has sidelined him since suffering it in their first game of the season against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The good news for Indiana is that Nembhard has been upgraded to questionable and it would be a massive boost to their lineup if he is able to return on Saturday.

The Pacers have ruled out Bennedict Mathurin due to a toe sprain that has caused him to miss their last six games.

With Mathurin sidelined, Sheppard and Jarace Walker will likely continue to have an increased role for the Pacers.

Indiana has also ruled out Tyrese Haliburton, T.J. McConnell, Johnny Furphy, Quenton Jackson, Kam Jones and Obi Toppin for Saturday’s game as they continue to be sidelined due to injuries.

On the other side, the Nuggets enter Saturday’s game with two players listed on their injury report for Saturday’s game.
