In one of the most unexpected entertainment drops of the year, Netflix has just released never-before-seen outtakes from Happy Gilmore 2 — and yes, Eminem really was part of it.
The scenes, filmed in secret during the movie’s wild production in early 2025, show Eminem in full comedic form — swinging golf clubs, yelling at squirrels, and even rapping mid-fight on a mini-golf course. But while fans are still processing how the Detroit rapper ended up in an Adam Sandler sports comedy sequel… the real twist was lurking just out of frame.
Enter: Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre.
According to new behind-the-scenes footage leaked on Netflix’s companion documentary Gilmore Unleashed, Snoop and Dre weren’t just visitors to the set — they were producers. Dre co-scored the film’s most ridiculous action scene (yes, there’s an actual golf cart chase) while Snoop worked as an uncredited “chill coordinator” — basically coaching Eminem through his comedy scenes with deadpan coolness and a vape pen in hand.
“There was this one day where Eminem couldn’t stop laughing between takes,” a crew member revealed anonymously. “Snoop was just sitting behind the monitor like, ‘Marshall, get your s*** together, man!’ And Eminem just collapsed. He was crying laughing.”
The footage shows Eminem and Sandler doing several hilarious alternate versions of a now-viral golf swing scene, with Dre’s beats playing in the background. In one scrapped take, Eminem freestyle-roasts Ben Stiller’s returning villain, sending the whole cast into chaos.
But fans were struck most by the tone of Eminem’s performance. “He wasn’t just doing comedy — he was letting go,” said one Netflix insider. “It’s like you’re watching this intense guy finally just… have fun.”
As for the Snoop-Dre surprise? Viewers are stunned.
“HOW did Netflix keep this quiet?” one user wrote on X.
“Dre scoring golf swing scenes and Snoop giving acting advice is the most 2025 thing ever.”
Netflix has not confirmed whether Eminem will appear in the final cut of Happy Gilmore 2 when it drops later this year, but fans are now begging for a spin-off.
And according to rumors, the rapper may already be in talks to headline a secret Sandler/Dre-produced sports comedy franchise — tentatively titled Hole in One Shot.
One thing’s certain: this wasn’t just a comedy cameo. It was a culture clash no one expected — and everyone is talking about it.
Stay tuned for more behind-the-scenes reveals and secret rap-comedy crossovers — only on Netflix.
