Christopher Meloni and Dean Norris, who play two of the Stabler brothers, explain how Organized Crime Season 5 may differ with its venue change.
As Law & Order: Organized Crimeheads to Peacock for Season 5, fans may be wondering how the move may impact the tone of the show.
Thankfully, Christopher Meloni and Dean Norris — who play brothers Elliot Stabler and Randall Stabler on the spin-off — sat down with NBC Insider to share the scoop on that.
The Season 5 trailer promises another risky undercover assignment for Stabler, as well as a reunion with his former Law & Order: Special Victims Unit partner Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) as he lies unconscious in a hospital bed.
Read on to find out if and how Organized Crime Season 5 might be different from earlier ones.

Will Law & Order: Organized Crime change with its Peacock move?
While avid fans of Organized Crime will be happy to learn that the overall tone of Season 5 will follow that of its previous four seasons, there will be some changes. Those include “more curse words” and a “little more edge.”
Meloni told NBC Insider that while the show’s DNA won’t alter, “the environment in which that DNA gets to thrive and live has expanded a little bit.” He added, “I think everyone was trying to figure out… Dick Wolf show on the streaming platform — what’s that vision? How are we going to make that happen? How gritty is the storytelling? So, couple more curse words maybe. Little more edge?”
Norris agreed, saying, “I think a little more edge, yeah.” He elaborated, “I think they’re allowed to do that to kind of make it a streaming-type show, if you will, but essentially the same show.”
The fate of the youngest Stabler brother will be revealed in Season 5
The actors also shared that fans will finally learn the fate of the youngest Stabler brother, Joe Jr., on Season 5. Viewers last saw him in Season 4, handcuffed to a briefcase full of a dangerous Russian nerve agent.
“That was fun and a long arc to get him back in the fold,” Meloni added of what’s going on with Joe Jr., who is played by Michael Trotter.

EUPHRATES RIVER PULLS BACK — ANCIENT STRUCTURES AND STRANGE PHENOMENA EMERGE
A 𝓈𝒽𝓸𝒸𝓀𝒾𝓃𝑔 phenomenon is unfolding along the Euphrates River, where receding waters are revealing ancient structures, massive statues, and mysterious underground tunnels. Witnesses report bizarre whirlpools and strange lights in the sky, leading many to speculate about biblical prophecies and the implications of these extraordinary discoveries. As waters recede, the Euphrates is unveiling hidden secrets that have lain dormant for centuries. Local fishermen have observed violent whirlpools forming unexpectedly, with water seemingly erupting from the riverbed. This unusual activity has sparked intense curiosity and concern among residents and scientists alike. Witnesses describe the river behaving as if it were alive, with swirling currents pulling boats and nets toward their centers. Experts suggest that geological changes beneath the surface may be causing these dramatic water movements, yet the timing and scale have raised eyebrows, drawing attention to ancient texts and prophecies. Drones surveying the newly 𝓮𝔁𝓹𝓸𝓼𝓮𝓭 riverbed have captured images of what appear to be the foundations of ancient settlements, possibly belonging to lost Mesopotamian towns. Archaeologists are eager to explore these structures, which may hold insights into civilizations that flourished along the Euphrates thousands of years ago. Amidst these discoveries, a colossal humanoid statue has emerged from the mud, captivating researchers with its unusual features. Unlike typical Mesopotamian sculptures, this figure lacks inscriptions and exhibits a smooth, polished surface. Its origins remain a mystery, fueling speculation about ancient cultures and their beliefs. Adding to the intrigue, residents have reported sightings of glowing spheres in the night sky, described as “circular lightning.” Scientists are investigating these phenomena, which may be linked to rare atmospheric conditions, but the coincidence with the river’s strange activities has many on edge. As the discoveries continue, experts have uncovered a vast network of underground tunnels beneath the Euphrates, suggesting human activity from a time long forgotten. Within these tunnels, researchers found a large wooden vessel, reminiscent of ancient transport ships, hinting at a bustling trade network that once thrived along the river. The situation escalated when military forces from neighboring countries began mobilizing around the Euphrates, driven by fears of what might be hidden beneath the surface. Tensions are rising as governments demand control over the area, with reports of strange geological formations prompting urgent investigations. With each new revelation, the connection to biblical prophecy grows stronger. As the Euphrates continues to reveal its secrets, many are left wondering if these events are mere natural occurrences or signs of a deeper, divine significance. The world watches closely, anticipating what else may surface from this ancient river.
