The tension between 50 Cent and the Flenory family—Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory and his son Lil Meech—has exploded into a full-blown public war. What started as a private disagreement has now become a heated spectacle, laced with betrayal, street code violations, viral footage, and nonstop Instagram trolling.

It all began after Big Meech, recently released from prison in October 2024 after serving 27 years of a 30-year sentence, appeared in a promotional video alongside Rick Ross for the *Welcome Back* concert scheduled for February 13, 2025, in Sunrise, Florida. The event featured Lil Baby, 21 Savage, and Sexy Red—but it was Meech’s connection to Ross, a longtime enemy of 50 Cent, that lit the fuse.

To 50 Cent, this wasn’t just business—it was personal. He felt betrayed, especially after years of supporting Lil Meech as the lead actor in the *BMF* series he produced. In response, 50 went on Instagram calling Big Meech a “rat,” claiming he cooperated with the feds to reduce his sentence, and brought up *Tammy Cowins*, a former BMF associate and co-producer on the show, as an alleged informant linked to Meech.

But 50 didn’t stop there—he zeroed in on Lil Meech. In February 2025, he posted alleged text messages from Lil Meech expressing hurt over 50 unfollowing him and siding with Ross. Lil Meech wrote, “I can’t believe this, man. You’re treating me like the enemy when I’ve only shown you love.” 50 mocked the texts publicly, hinting he might remove Lil Meech from the *BMF* show altogether.

He even claimed Lil Meech had drug issues on set and posted that he found *whippets* (nitrous oxide canisters) in the actor’s truck. According to 50, Lil Meech blew through \$5 million in BMF earnings on cars and jewelry—including a \$200,000 Cuban link chain—calling him a “private school kid pretending to be street.”

Then things escalated. In July 2025, Lil Meech’s former friend *Three Luck* dropped a bombshell on Instagram. He accused Lil Meech of planting drugs and a gun on him during a traffic stop, resulting in federal charges. 50 quickly jumped on the drama, reposting bodycam footage showing Lil Meech in a police car asking, “Did you find the other stuff?” after the cops discovered a weapon.

According to Three Luck, Lil Meech threw the drugs in his lap while he was asleep. “That’s the reason I got fed time,” he wrote. “Dudes like Lil Meech act real but move foul.” He even shaded Big Meech, writing, “You raised a lame.”

It wasn’t the first time Lil Meech faced legal trouble. In 2023, TSA found an unloaded gun in his bag at the airport. His defense? “I’m a minor, sir. My security guard left it in my bag.” At 23 years old, the excuse didn’t sit well with many—including 50, who mocked him for panicking and name-dropping.

Lil Meech later posted a photo with Big Meech, captioned: “Hear no evil, speak no evil. Salt only kills snails, not made men.” It was a subtle clapback aimed at the noise.

Big Meech THREATENS 50 Cent For LEAKING Lil Meech SNITCHING Video

Eventually, Big Meech broke his silence. In a February 2025 Instagram video, he said:

> “I wasn’t going to address this. But let me be clear—I never folded, never told, never will. Death before dishonor.”

He stated that his sentence reduction had nothing to do with cooperation, but rather changes in sentencing guidelines. In a leaked prison interview, Meech doubled down:

Sources close to Meech claim that 50 was stretching the truth and that Tammy Cowins acted independently—not under Meech’s direction. But things took another turn when reports surfaced of a private message allegedly sent from Big Meech to one of 50’s associates, warning him to stop targeting his son or face consequences.

Behind the scenes, producers started pulling back from *BMF*, concerned the beef could spill into real-life violence. But 50 was undeterred. He mocked Meech’s house arrest, claiming he couldn’t even attend his own concert, and even joked that Lil Baby might cancel. When the concert was eventually canceled—confirmed by Boosie Badazz—50 posted, “Big Screech can’t go outside after 6PM.”

At its core, this feud is about loyalty and pride. Some believe Big Meech resented 50’s tight bond with Lil Meech, especially after 50 helped him with acting and rehab. Others say Big Meech’s linkup with Rick Ross—possibly motivated by money while *BMF* awaited renewal—was a slap in the face to 50.

Ross poured gas on the fire by teasing a rival *BMF* film project, calling 50’s version “watered down.” Meanwhile, Young Buck came to Big Meech’s defense but ended up getting clowned by 50 with homophobic jokes.

Fans are divided. Some say 50 went too far, exploiting Meech’s legal troubles and disrespecting a man who served 27 years. Others argue that Meech’s partnership with Ross was the ultimate betrayal, especially after all 50 had done for his son.
