Benzino Fires Back at 50 Cent Over Snitching Claims, Challenges Him to a Boxing Match: “Let’s Settle This in the Ring”

Benzino has publicly responded to 50 Cent’s recent accusations that he cooperated with law enforcement, labeling him a snitch. The drama reignited after 50 Cent shared a video clip from The Ghetto Report podcast, where Benzino attempted to clear his name from long-standing allegations tied to a 2014 shooting incident involving his own nephew.

According to Benzino, the incident occurred during a highly emotional moment — at his mother’s funeral — when he was shot. He claims that in the heat of the moment, while under heavy medication and trauma, he made statements that were later used against his nephew in court. However, he strongly denies ever testifying against him. “I never pointed anyone out,” Benzino insisted. “When the grand jury asked if I knew who shot me, I said no. I told them I didn’t see anything.”

Benzino says his nephew ended up serving time not because of his statements, but because multiple other eyewitnesses testified. He emphasized that if he had directly identified his nephew as the shooter, the sentence would’ve been far more severe — up to 15 years for attempted murder. “He got 18 months for firing a weapon in a dwelling, not because I said anything.”

The interview took a heated turn when the hosts confronted Benzino with paperwork and transcripts. Frustrated, he walked out of the podcast after clashing with the hosts and being pushed on whether he had ever sent them the documents himself.

In response to 50 Cent mocking the situation on Instagram, Benzino escalated matters further by challenging him to a boxing match. “Get in the ring with me, Curtis. You’re big, sloppy, and stiff. I don’t believe all that Golden Gloves talk,” he said. “Three rounds, I’ll whoop you. Floyd Mayweather — set it up.”

This isn’t the first time 50 Cent and Benzino have exchanged words online, but the tension seems to be hitting a new peak. While 50 continues to use the situation for laughs and social media content, Benzino appears increasingly determined to defend his reputation — both legally and physically.

In the end, Benzino maintains that he’s solid and didn’t snitch. “If there’s any real issue, I’m not hard to find,” he said defiantly. “The paperwork’s out there — go read it.”
