The post, shared by a strongly pro-Israel account, included an AI-generated image of Eminem and confidently stated: “First time in Israel. 1/6/2025”.

The reaction online was swift — and angry. Unaware of the post’s shady origins, many users began criticising Eminem for allegedly agreeing to perform in a region engulfed in war. But there is obviously no official announcement of an Eminem tour, and certainly nothing confirmed about a concert in Israel.

That is where FredWreck stepped in. The longtime Aftermath producer and Eminem collaborator — Palestinian himself — reposted one of the many outraged reactions and shut the whole thing down with a simple message: “FAKE NEWS!”

Unlike recent rumours about Eminem touring India, which were driven more by excitement and fan hope (and later exploited by scammers), this fake post seems to have been created with a more malicious intent. It looks like it was designed to stir up outrage and drag Eminem into a polarising and deeply emotional global issue.

Why target him in this way? Who knows. However, the incident is a reminder of how quickly misinformation can spread online, especially when it touches on sensitive topics. Sadly, even some public figures and journalists reposted the claim without verifying it.
