Shreveport Officially Welcomes 50 Cent And G-Unit Studios

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – The Caddo Parish Economic Development Committee met Monday, Aug. 18. One of the agenda items discussed was 50 Cent’s G-Unit.

Specifically, the committee discussed the “advancement and extension of the economic impact of the G-Unit Studios in Caddo Parish.”

The committee is excited about 50 Cent’s plans to revitalize downtown Shreveport. On Monday, the committee met with Orville Hall, growth adviser for G-Unit, to talk about details on how and when these plans will happen.

Although Hall didn’t give a specific timeline on when these changes will happen, he did say good things are coming.

“So for the people of Shreveport, just watch what’s coming. Watch what’s coming. You’re in the right city,” Hall teased.

Hall did announce they plan to build a permanent G-Dome. The temporary, inflatable G-Dome was first seen in downtown Shreveport during 2024’s Humor & Harmony Weekend, which Shreveport Mayor Tom Arceneaux confirms is coming back in March of 2026.
