Hip-hop has always been competitive — that’s part of the culture. But 50 Cent says there’s a line, and Jay-Z has crossed it.

According to him, this is no longer about music battles or chart positions. This is about backroom moves, business blockades, and power plays meant to keep other people out of the spotlight.

And now, 50 Cent and Eminem are standing side-by-side, openly aiming at Jay-Z — with Beyoncé caught in the crossfire.

They’re not holding back. The accusations range from shady business dealings to award-show manipulation, stealing credit for other people’s work, and even sabotaging entire careers.

What used to be whispered in the shadows has now turned into a five-alarm fire.

In 2023, 50 Cent went public with a claim that stunned fans — Jay-Z allegedly used his NFL connections to block him from performing at the Super Bowl halftime show.

“Those votes? Fake. Not a real vote,” 50 said about the industry’s award and performance selection process. “They give it to who they want — to their darlings. Team Beyoncé all the way.”

Eminem, who performed with 50 Cent and Dr. Dre during the Super Bowl, reportedly shut that down and refused to let Jay have the final word.

For 50, it wasn’t about competition anymore.

“You’re not dropping music. You’re not fighting for the Top 10… so what’s the point? Why block opportunities when there’s no competition on the charts? It doesn’t make sense.”

Eminem has been calling the Grammys out for years, calling the whole system “rigged” and “pay-to-win.”

“They nominate you, plaster your face all over the promos, make you think you might win… then they stiff you every time,” Em said. “It’s all smoke and mirrors.”

Eminem stopped attending altogether, saying even if he joined the Grammy voting committee, nothing would change.

50 has echoed that sentiment, but went further — claiming Jay-Z’s awards have nothing to do with music.

According to him, Jay’s marriage to Beyoncé is the ultimate “cheat code.” The Recording Academy knows that giving the Carters awards guarantees ratings, headlines, and social media buzz.

“So they keep nominating them, keep giving them trophies,” 50 said, “not because of talent, but because they bring the cameras.”

Beyoncé’s name isn’t being left out.

She’s accused of blackballing female artists and taking songwriting credit — with names like Keri Hilson, Mary J. Blige, Mýa, Aaliyah, Kelis, and Amerie all coming up.

Beyoncé’s former bodyguard, Uncle Ron, claimed to have proof that Jay and Bey “squash rising stars, wreck lives, and destroy careers” to protect their reign. He died soon after from pneumonia, and the timing has fueled speculation.

Singer Jaguar Wright, once a Jay-Z backing vocalist, has also accused him of being tied to suspicious incidents — including the unsolved 1999 murder of Harlem rapper Big L. She alleges Big L was about to sign a major deal when he was killed, and Jay’s career rose immediately after.

DMX, one of the few who confronted Jay-Z directly, claimed that when Jay became president of Def Jam, he deliberately stalled DMX’s sixth album to make room for his own comeback.

DMX saw it as a calculated power move: “You’re not just rapping… you’re controlling the whole game.”

Beanie Sigel told a similar story — that Jay dropped albums at the same time as his to drown out his numbers.

“It was like having in-house competition at the highest level,” Beanie said. “He wouldn’t let me breathe.”
