Under Flick, they have a healthy balance of both parties. The likes of Lamine Yamal and Gavi came through the academy, while they’ve brought proven superstars such as Robert Lewandowski to Camp Nou too. After regaining the La Liga title, here’s how much every player in the senior squad is taking him every week.
Goalkeepers
Marc-Andre ter Stegen earns far more than any other goalkeeper
Barca also have a couple of solid options in Inaki Pena and Wojciech Szczesny. The former is the third-highest earning goalkeeper at Camp Nou, on just over €60,000, but the latter isn’t too far behind on €57,692-a-week. The former Arsenal man came out of retirement to sign with Barcelona and he’s earning a nice weekly wage for doing so. The final keeper in the squad is Ander Astralaga and at 21 years old, the Spaniard is very low in the pecking order and his wage of €3,846-per-week is a reflection of that.

Defenders
Five defenders earn over €100,000-a-week

Moving into defence, there’s one man making a significant amount more than anyone else and that’s Jules Kounde. Signed from Sevilla in 2022, he became one of the most expensive centre-backs in history. He has been ever-present for Barcelona this season and is earning over €250,000-a-week for his troubles.
Ronaldo Araujo is the second highest-paid defender at Camp Nou following the new contract he signed in January 2025. His form has seen him rewarded with a new salary of €240,385-a-week. Inigo Martinez is third, taking home €174,321 on a weekly basis. He’s been a key figure for the side and was rewarded with a new contract in March.
Pau Cubarsi signed a new deal recently and was handed €76,923-a-week. Aleandro Balde is making just over €30,000 every week, while Hector Fort and Gerard Martin are the lowest-paid defenders at Camp Nou. They are still making a substantial amount on a weekly basis, however, taking home €16,154 and €8,077 respectively.

Midfielders
Frenkie de Jong earns over €350,000-a-week

Frenkie de Jong has had his fair share of critics since he joined Barca in 2019. It’s easy to see why when you consider the fact he’s earning €365,385 every single week. He’s on over €100,000 more than Pedri (€240,385) in second place. Gavi (€180,385) is the last midfielder on over €100,000 in the side.
Two players brought through the Barcelona academy round out the midfield group. Fermin Lopez and Marc Casado came through the ranks at Camp Nou and each signed a new contract in 2024 to keep them with the team for the foreseeable future. The trio are earning €76,923 and €10,000 on a weekly basis, respectively.

Robert Lewandowski is the club’s highest earner

Lamine Yamal has been one of the biggest success stories to come out of Barcelona’s academy since Lionel Messi. The teenage sensation is one of the favourites to win the 2025 Ballon d’Or despite being just 18 years old. According to reports, he will earn a whopping €374,833 (£325,000) a week, which equates to €15 million (£12.5m/$17m) per season as a base salary, potentially rising to €20m (£17m/$23m) with bonuses.
He was also handed the famous no.10 shirt as a reward. Yamal didn’t seem bothered by the pressure, saying:
“Messi has made his path, I will make my own. Messi, [Diego] Maradona, and Ronaldinho are three football legends. They have been three incredible players, Messi still is. I’ll try to follow that legacy.”
His partner in crime, Raphinha, was also rewarded with a new deal after an incredible season. The Brazilian now earns €280,385 every seven days.
Dani Olmo and Ferran Torres are the last forwards in the side making six figures every seven days, making close to €240,385-a-week and €192,308-a-week respectively. Pau Victor and Pablo Torre round out the squad, with the pair earning €7,308-a-week and €4,038-a-week respectively.
