For NBA superstar Stephen Curry, the holiday season is a time to give back.
The Golden State Warriors guard and his family teamed up with the charity Feed the Children on Saturday to help distribute boxes of toiletries and food to 400 hungry families in Oakland, California.
The Warriors shared photos of Curry, his wife, Ayesha, and their daughters, Ryan and Riley, helping out at the food givaway. “Yesterday @StephenCurry30 & family teamed up w/ @feedthechildren to provide for 400 local families #WarriorsGiveBack, ” the team tweeted on Sunday.
“Being able to impact the East Bay community and the Bay Area at large is definitely important with this being our home,” Curry said, according to ABC News.
“It’s nice that what we do on the court can continue to shed light on the initiatives that we have off the court that are, in the grand scheme of things, a lot more important.”
