In the upcoming book, stories surrounding the relationship between Amber Heard and the tech billionaire nearly a decade ago are revisited.

A new book set to be released promises to unveil never-before-published details about the failed marriage between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard, while also delving into the turbulent relationship between Amber and billionaire Elon Musk nearly a decade ago, according to the Daily Mail.

A Promising Beginning

The book reveals that although Amber and Elon’s relationship started off smoothly, it was soon marked by emotional volatility, jealousy, and heated arguments. Notably, people close to Elon later made surprising remarks about Amber’s personality — observations that echoed what Johnny Depp’s inner circle had shared previously.

Specifically, shortly after a restraining order was issued against Johnny Depp in May 2016, a large potted plant was delivered to Amber’s Los Angeles apartment, accompanied by a note that read:
“I had a wonderful weekend with you — E.”

Amber Heard and billionaire Elon Musk were in an on-and-off relationship for several years.

According to the building manager, Elon Musk had his own key to Amber Heard’s private residence. The billionaire was frequently seen visiting her late at night, especially when Johnny Depp was not around.

At the end of June 2016, Amber surprised Elon on his birthday by flying to the Tesla factory in Fremont, California. Upon arrival, Elon’s security team helped the actress hide behind a Tesla vehicle. As Elon approached the car, Amber jumped out from behind it holding a bouquet of flowers and presented them to him.

Two weeks later, in mid-July 2016, Elon and Amber were spotted together in Miami, Florida. Amber was there with her sister, Whitney, and the three of them stayed in poolside villas at the Delano Hotel. Elon took Amber and Whitney on a trip to Cape Canaveral.

Amber later told Elon’s biographer, Walter Isaacson, that it was “the most exciting date” she had ever had. In the beginning, the two shared sweet, wonderful moments together.

The actress constantly wanted to be by Elon’s side. She often spoke highly of the billionaire, calling him intelligent, fascinating, and completely different from the typical Hollywood stars.

Turmoil and Jealousy

Eventually, Amber and Elon’s relationship hit a rocky patch. Arguments became frequent, fueled by jealousy and mutual accusations.

Elon himself would later describe the relationship with Amber as “the most painful” of his life. In an interview with Rolling Stone just months later, he revealed that he had recently gone through a breakup and was deeply heartbroken. He struggled to maintain focus ahead of Tesla’s Model 3 launch the very next day.

“I went through severe emotional pain in the past few weeks. It was serious,” Elon admitted. “I had to summon every ounce of willpower to be able to attend the Model 3 launch event. That day, I was really sad. And then I tried to pick myself up by drinking a few cans of Red Bull, hanging out with positive people. I told myself, ‘A lot of people are depending on you. Okay, let’s do this.’”

Despite their breakup, Amber Heard and Elon Musk continued to see each other throughout 2017.

According to a source close to Amber (who requested anonymity), the actress confided that Elon Musk was “possessive, jealous, and a bit unhinged.”

Amber allegedly revealed that the billionaire had installed cameras in her home, planted listening devices in her car, and frequently monitored her whereabouts. This behavior left her feeling stifled and uncomfortable.

Their turbulent relationship finally came to an end in December 2017 after a trip to Rio de Janeiro. While staying at a hotel, Amber reportedly locked herself in her room and began screaming, accusing Elon of holding onto her passport. She also said she feared he might attack her.

However, hotel security staff and Elon’s sister-in-law, who was also present on the trip, reassured Amber that no one intended to harm her. They confirmed she was safe, and that her passport was in her own handbag. She was told she was free to leave whenever she wished.

Kimbal Musk, Elon’s brother, later expressed his surprise at Amber’s sudden change in behavior.

“She’s actually a really good actress,” he said. “She’ll say something and you’ll think, ‘Wow, maybe she’s telling the truth,’ but it’s not real.”

After the final breakup, Amber texted her agent, Christian Carino, expressing her sorrow:

“I’m dealing with the breakup. I hate that everything is public. See? I’m really sad.”

Carino responded bluntly:

“You didn’t love Elon. You told me a thousand times you were just filling a void. So why are you sad if you never loved him in the first place?”

Interestingly, Amber later asked Carino to deliver a letter to Johnny Depp — one she had written herself — expressing her love and apologizing for what had happened.
