A man proclaiming himself as the son of Tupac has been detained outside of the courthouse where Sean ‘P. Diddy’ Combs‘ sentencing is unfolding.
In a video swirling online of the arrest, the man says to bystanders, “Somebody attacked me from Puffy’s team. My dad is Tupac Shakur, number one, okay,” before police demanded those watching nearby step away from the unnamed man. Through yells, you can hear the arrestee aggressively saying to the cops, “Puffy has a problem with me!”
Viewers reacted to the clip of the arrest, as one said, “The fatigue is real. We are putting up with clowns and criminals and a cancer of a culture. People need to be rounded up and shipped off to a deserted island.”
“We have a mental illness problem in this country,” another person added, as a third asked, “Is that 2Pac cosplay? Even has the nose piercing.”

The arrest came as 55-year-old Diddy awaits to receive his sentence after being convicted in July on two counts of transporting individuals across state lines for prostitution under the federal Mann Act.

During the trial, Combs was acquitted of more serious charges including racketeering and sex trafficking by force or coercion. The prosecution now argues those acquittals do not lessen the gravity of his misconduct, asking for a sentence of 135 months, or just over 11 years, plus a possible fine.
Combs’s defense is pushing back and is seeking a sentence capped at 14 months, which they contend would amount to time served given his roughly year-long detention at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.
In a pre-sentencing letter, Combs described himself as “broken” at the time of his arrest and claimed to have undergone a “spiritual reset” during incarceration while promising to reform. He even vowed that he ‘would never commit a crime again.’
In the letter, he also claimed that conditions inside the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn are ‘inhumane,’ saying he was ‘locked in a room with 25 other people.’
