Benzino Claims Eminem and 50 Cent Bots Ruin His Career

Former The Source co-owner Benzino recently discussed hip hop culture, his career, and the many feuds that follow him.

The interview that appeared on Cam Capone News was heavily censored, with (almost) all swear words muted. As a result, it takes effort to decipher his thoughts. Still, one theme stands out: Benzino believes he has never achieved greatness because of conspiracies and enemies.

Even with the missing words, Benzino’s message came through loud and clear. He insists that his relationship with 50 Cent would have been strong if not for Eminem. “If he didn’t sign with Em, me and Fif would be cool, 100%”, Benzino said. “Me and Ja Rule got cool. I’m cool. I’m loved all around this world, man. All through these hoods, loved. And the shit I did for Fifty! I’ve done so much for so many people”.

Benzino’s version of events puts Eminem at the centre of his conflicts. He portrays himself as misunderstood and wronged by forces beyond his control. According to him, signing with Eminem turned 50 Cent against him — a narrative that repeats Benzino’s long-running belief that others have blocked his success.

Calls for Peace, but More Accusations

Interestingly, Benzino also said he’s open to reconciliation. “If Eminem called and said he wants to sit down, I’m with it. If Fifty wants, I’m with it”, he stated. However, the supposed peace offering quickly turned sour as he returned to blaming Eminem and his fans.

Finally, Benzino accused Eminem, and even 50 Cent, of using bots to sabotage his music online. He went as far as saying that “Eminem fans flood the internet” with negative comments to ruin his songs. He also added disturbing anti-Semitic remarks, claiming “Jews use bots and strategies” to manipulate public opinion:

“The Eminem thing has always put a black cloud over my music because people will use the internet to run to it. Their strategy is to grab the narrative through the internet. Flood the internet. So, if I put out a song and they flame my shit with “it sucks, it sucks” comments, everybody that goes to the song through the comments, they’re gonna think that. That’s a strategy that these motherfucking Jews use, with bots and all that. Eminem does it, and I’m starting to think Fif does it too. They use bots to their advantage”.

It’s a shocking mix of delusion and denial. Instead of accepting criticism or having a hard, long look at himself, Benzino seems more comfortable inventing conspiracies. Maybe that’s easier than admitting that his music simply doesn’t interest anyone.
