Kate Winslet shares her strangest celebrity encounter involving Eminem in a way no one saw coming. The story is wilder than anyone expected.

Eminem has had some controversial moments through the years, but his alleged request to Kate Winslet might just take the cake. The Titanic actress recently sat on the iconic orange couch on The Graham Norton Show, along with Seth Meyers and more.

During the conversation, she revealed an anecdote she had never told before. Apparently, Eminem once asked the actress to “shave his bottom“. Was he serious? Was it all a big joke? We will never know.

Winslet recalled,

This is a story I’ve never, never told. Eminem asked me to shave his bottom. He said, ‘Would you shave my butt?’ and I said, ‘I’m sorry I don’t do personal grooming’. I’m not gonna go with the bit and get your crack, love.

Meyers then chimed in, joking, “When she said no, I did say yes.” Watch the clip from The Graham Norton Show below:

Well, that’s one encounter Winslet will never forget…

Another Hollywood A-Lister Recalls Awkward Moment With Eminem

tom hardy on instagram

Eminem may have sung for Tom Hardy’s Venom, but their first meeting couldn’t have been more awkward, at least according to the actor. During his appearance on Whoo’s House podcast, Hardy recalled the awkward meeting with the rapper, which left him feeling “like a real d*ck“.

He recalled,

I went to his concert and I felt sorry for him because like, I got ushered to his dressing room backstage to say hello and he had to take a photo with me and I felt like a real dick. He’s nice but he had to go on stage. So it’s like he’s prepping to do his job and then some idiot like me comes in and was like, ‘Hey!’ He just deadpanned me. I was like, ‘Okay. Now is not the time!’

What’s Next for Kate Winslet? Team-up With Son Explained

Kate Winslet as Julia in Goodbye June

Kate Winslet’s directorial debut, Goodbye June, premiered at the Curzon Mayfair Cinema on December 03. Not only has she directed the Christmas family drama, but she has also produced and starred in it. The film also stars Helen Mirren, Toni Collette, and more.

Goodbye June is a story about grief, reconciliation, and love, as the various characters gather around their dying mother for one last time. The film’s screenplay is given by none other than her son, Joe Anders, and is partly inspired by their experience of losing Winslet’s mother to cancer (via Reuters).

During the film’s premiere, she stated (via Reuters),

I just wanted to make a film that felt authentic and real. I also didn’t want to make a story that was about someone who dies because it’s really not. It’s actually about the life that is given to the people who are left behind.

Speaking of the inspiration behind the film, Anders stated that while the story is “entirely fictional”, it emotionally comes from “that place of sending my grandmother off.”

Winslet had another big release recently – Avatar: Fire and Ash, where she reprised the role of Ronal. Next, the actress’s fans will get to see her act as a narrator for the documentary film, Finding Harmony: A King’s Vision.
