Elon Musk caused a stir when he activated a prototype “memory machine” – a device that can replay memories from 20 years ago as real video – but the machine’s first memory didn’t belong to anyone in the room.
It was supposed to be a routine internal test — a quiet, tightly controlled demonstration of Neuralink’s most controversial invention to date. The Memory Machine, a neural-scanning device using quantum resonance to extract dormant electrochemical patterns from the brain, promised to resurrect memories long thought lost to time.
