Lionel Messi producing a moment of magic is not something new to most football fans but supporters are split on whether he really did pull off his latest stunt.

The Barcelona captain uploaded a behind the scenes video to his Instagram page as he filmed an advert with one of his brand endorsements.

He places a half-empty bottle on top of a football before chipping the ball through a nearby hoop, watching the drink rotate in the air before landing flat on the floor.

Fans were however left divided as to whether it was real as the bottle landed perfectly still

Messi sees the bottle land perfectly still on the floor before turning to the camera and smiling as he walks away.

For some it was merely yet another sign that he is the Greatest of All Time (GOAT).

One twitter user wrote: ‘How this man making everything is so simple…’

But not everyone was convinced by the advert and like Mohamed Salah’s attempt on Thursday, fans were again scratching their head.

Liverpool star Salah showed he is not lacking any precision right now as he shot through a tyre, flipping a can of Pepsi in the process.

After an onlooker asks him to perform a ‘no-look finish’, Salah hits a volley on the swivel and knocks the can off without even eyeing up the target.

Some users online questioned whether the amazing strikes were real or not, but what is certain is that Salah, much like Messi in his version, possesses a deadly eye for goal.
