Few players in the WNBA have turned talent, charisma, and business sense into a unified brand quite like Angel Reese.

The Chicago Sky forward continued to elevate her game during the 2025 season, averaging 14.7 points, 12.6 rebounds, and 3.7 assists — numbers that earned her a second consecutive All-Star selection and solidified her reputation as one of the league’s most dominant rebounders. Even so, the Sky struggled to find team success, finishing 10–34 and missing the playoffs for the second straight year.

But while the on-court results weren’t ideal, Reese’s off-court momentum was unstoppable. The 22-year-old has rapidly evolved from college phenom to cultural force, seamlessly balancing sports, fashion, and entrepreneurship.

After wrapping up her sophomore WNBA campaign, Reese strutted the runway at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, dropped new episodes of her hit podcast Unapologetically Angel, and unveiled her first signature sneaker — the Angel Reese 1 — as part of her partnership with Reebok.

Building Her Business Empire

Earlier this year, Reese took her brand a step further by officially launching Angel Reese LLC, a company created to manage her name, image, likeness, and growing portfolio of ventures. Through the company, she’s already secured trademarks for several of her signature phrases and projects, including “Unapologetically Angel,” “Reesebounds,” and “Mebounds.”

Now, she’s locked down the ultimate asset: her own name.

According to Heitner Legal, P.L.L.C., Angel Reese LLC officially trademarked ANGEL REESE®, with the filing submitted on March 7 and finalized on October 28, 2025. The law firm announced the update on X (formerly Twitter), posting,

“Angel Reese is now ANGEL REESE®. From the court to the trademark office. @Reese10Angel is building an empire, one registration at a time. #TrademarkTuesday.”

Reese quickly reposted the announcement, solidifying yet another win for her brand. The move ensures that her name — already one of the most recognizable in women’s basketball — is legally protected for use across future ventures in apparel, media, and entertainment.

Owning Her Narrative

For Reese, this isn’t just about business — it’s about empowerment. Known for her unapologetic confidence and flair, she’s made it clear that controlling her image is a priority.

“I’ve always wanted to make sure I own everything tied to my name and who I am,” Reese said earlier this year. “It’s about legacy, not just highlights.”

Still, she remains deeply invested in her basketball future. Under contract with Chicago for two more seasons, Reese has been vocal about wanting the Sky to improve their roster and culture.

“I’m very vocal about what we need and what I want,” she told reporters in September. “I’d like to be here for my career, but if things don’t pan out, obviously I might have to move in a different direction and do what’s best for me.”

More Than an Athlete

With her brand expanding rapidly and her influence stretching far beyond the court, Reese is redefining what it means to be a modern athlete. Whether she’s leading the league in rebounds, walking fashion runways, or signing new business deals, every move feels deliberate — part of a bigger vision that blends excellence, authenticity, and ambition.

For Angel Reese, success isn’t just about winning games. It’s about building something lasting — a global brand, a cultural voice, and a business empire that will outlive her playing days.

In every sense, Angel Reese isn’t just playing basketball anymore. She’s playing the long game.
