Eminem and Kid Rock praised by fans for putting politics aside and ‘agreeing to disagree’ without ‘hatred’
Eminem and Kid Rock have been praised for fans for putting their differing political views aside ahead of the US Presidential Election next month.
Stan hitmaker Eminem, 52, endorsed Democrat candidate Kamala Harris earlier this month, while fellow rapper Kid Rock, 53, has been a longtime supporter of Republican nominee and former president Donald Trump.
However the pair have not let their vastly differing political views get in the way of their decades long friendship with Kid Rock giving an insight into their dynamic in a new X video.
In the clip a shirtless Kid Rock says: ‘I love Eminem. We’ve been friends for many years. I don’t agree with his politics, but I do give credit to him and people like Taylor Swift for standing up and not being afraid to be vocal for that which they believe.
‘Thinking differently and having the freedom to do so is what makes this country great. My stance is unequivocally MAGA as I know in my heart, mind, body and soul that President Trump will make America great again. God bless the U.S.A.’

Fans lauded the pair for their amicable exchange

‘It’s good to see individuals accepting disagreement without harboring animosity. It’s a very pleasant sight.
‘Nice to see people agreeing to disagree without hatred in their hearts. It’s really nice to see.
‘We should definitely all take note. Fighting one another is terrible. We must fight the terrible Gov’t. TOGETHER! That terrifies them.’
Eminem fans were recently left furious after the rapper voiced his support for Democratic nominee Kamala Harris alongside former President Barack Obama in Detroit.
At a campaign event in his home city, Slim Shady came onstage and took a subtle swipe at Donald Trump – expressing his support for Harris and saying she wouldn’t be out for ‘retribution’.
He then introduced Obama, who took the stage and rapped lines from Eminem’s Grammy-wining song ‘Lose Yourself’.
A few of the musician’s fans – including Tesla boss Elon Musk – expressed unhappiness with the rapper’s appearance.
Kid Rock performed his song American Bad Ass for the 2024 Republican National Convention with modified lyrics to show his support for Trump
He previously said of Trump during his successful 2016 Presidential run: ‘I’m digging Trump. I feel like a lot of people, whether you’re a Democrat or a Republican, feel like if you get Hillary or Bernie, or you get Rubio or Cruz or whoever, there’s going to be the same s**t – pictured 2023

‘Has that much f*****g changed when anyone’s in office, whether it’s been a Republican or a Democrat in office, in our lifetime, anyway? I haven’t really seen this big, like, f*****g change. Obviously some people f****d up.
‘That’s a long debate. My feeling: let the motherf*****g business guy run it like a f*****g business. And his campaign has been entertaining as s**t.’
