The Golden State Warriors had a rough night against the Houston Rockets in their recent meeting. The team suffered a 100-104 loss, which landed them at a 10-9 record. However, apart from the loss, Stephen Curry’s health condition raised a significant concern within the Warriors’ depth.

Curry returned after a case of the flu that had kept him sidelined for a few games. The veteran guard made a solid impact in a game against the Utah Jazz, but looked a bit out of rhythm in their loss against the Rockets, posting only 14 points, five assists, and six rebounds.

A viral clip from Wednesday’s game showed Curry in discomfort with his leg. He was even struggling to walk and couldn’t even sit properly. The injury occurred after the 37-year-old collided with Rockets star Amen Thompson, which brought significant tension within the Warriors’ core.

With AI Horford out of the rotation, the Warriors needed Curry’s strong veteran presence to stay competitive for the upcoming games. Now, as the injury appears severe, he may miss further games ahead, and the Warriors need to find a suitable replacement as they aim to improve their position in the league.

The Golden State Warriors faced another setback as Curry suffered an injury in his left leg during their last game against the Houston Rockets. With several key players out of the rotation, the team is already finding it difficult to stay in rhythm, and Curry’s recent injury added more complications for the games ahead.

NBA analyst Brett Siegel shared his words regarding Curry’s health. “Stephen Curry does not look good out there and is moving around very slow with a massive limp. He seemed to hurt what looks like his left leg while taking a charge from Amen Thompson, only for the call to be overturned several minutes ago,” he wrote on X.

Amid the growing tension, the Warriors might stay positive and start working with their other talents. Curry’s absence will surely make a major hole in their game plan, but the team will hope to see him back as soon as possible. If his recovery lingers, the Warriors’ playoff hopes could quickly slip out of reach.
