Jennifer Lopez was all smiles while posing alongside 17-year-old child Emme at the Broadway opening night premiere of Good Night, and Good Luck.
The duo stepped out in matching all-black looks on Thursday, April 3, for the star-studded event in New York City. Lopez, 55, wrapped her arm around Emme as they arrived at the Winter Garden theater. They looked nearly identical in one photo as both Lopez and Emme opened their mouths and had their heads turned the same way, seemingly greeting someone they knew from afar.
Lopez wore a body-hugging v-neck gown paired with an oversized cape. Emme, meanwhile, opted for a black suit and plaid tie, accessorizing with a Vivienne Westwood necklace. (Lopez shares Emme and Max Muñiz with ex-husband Marc Anthony.)
The singer and the teen were in NYC to support George Clooney who is starring as former CBS journalist Edward R. Murrow in Good Night, and Good Luck. Clooney, 63, is starring in the stage adaptation based on the 2005 film of the same name in which he directed. (Clooney has even dyed his iconic silver hair black while he takes on the role.)
Clooney also walked the red carpet on Thursday before taking the stage but did so without wife Amal Clooney, who was “with the kids,” as he told reporters. (George and Amal, 47, share 7-year-old twins Alexander and Ella.)

The couple’s children are enjoying their newfound life in the Big Apple, George previously said.
“How do you not like the city? They love being here [and] we’re having a really fun time,” he explained on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert in February. “Actually, a play is kind of a good schedule because you’re working at night and you get to see the kids during the day, so it’s OK.”
A source told Us Weekly exclusively last month that George and Amal “have been loving” living in New York City for the time being.
“They usually don’t spend that much time in the city so they have a lot of people they have been seeing. They both go to work during the day, and the twins are here with them too,” the insider added, noting that the couple has “hosted a few dinner parties for friends” who are also in the Big Apple.
“They are very much a couple who enjoys more private date nights,” the source added, noting that George and Amal are keeping more of a low profile during their stay.
