Patrick Mahomes Supports Taylor Swift’s New ‘Toy Story 5’ Song on Instagram
Patrick Mahomes is showing love for his teammate Travis Kelce’s fiancée — and her newest project.
The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback reshared Taylor Swift‘s Instagram announcement to his Stories on Monday, June 1, after the pop star revealed she has recorded an original song for Toy Story 5. His wife, Brittany Mahomes, also reposted the news on her own Instagram Stories.
Swift, who announced the track via an Instagram carousel, shared the details directly with fans in her caption. “It’s a *Toy* Story 🤠 You knew it! My new original song “I Knew It, I Knew You” for Disney and @pixar’s @toystory 5 will be yours on June 5th,” she wrote. “I’ve always dreamed of getting to write for these characters who I’ve adored since I was a 5 year old kid watching the first Toy Story movie.”
The singer, 36, also described how quickly the song came together after she got an early look at the film. “I fell instantly in love with Toy Story 5 when I was lucky enough to see it in its early stages, and I wrote this song as soon as I got home from the screening,” she wrote, per her Instagram. “Sometimes you just know, right?”
She added that fans can pre-order the track exclusively on her site, with Toy Story 5 arriving in theaters June 19.

The exciting career news comes as Swift is also preparing for her upcoming wedding to Kelce, 36. As Star previously reported, the Grammy winner has been navigating mounting tension ahead of the big day after details of the ceremony leaked, leaving her feeling guarded about who to trust.
The Mahomes family is also clearly fond of the franchise. Patrick and Brittany share three children — daughters Sterling, 5, and Golden, 16 months, and son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III, 3 — and in April 2025, the family visited Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World.
Brittany documented the outing on Instagram, captioning the photos, “The best trip with our besties.”
