Elon Musk mocked the lack of arrests related to the Epstein case after the U.S. Department of Justice claimed the pedophile billionaire had no “client list.”

On July 7, Musk posted an image on social media platform X showing a digital counter stuck at “0000,” accompanied by the caption: “Number of pedophiles arrested in connection with Jeffrey Epstein.”

“What time is it? Oh look, it’s ‘no one’s been arrested’ o’clock again,” Musk wrote sarcastically alongside the image.

Elon Musk Mocks DOJ Over Epstein Memo: “What Was Ghislaine Jailed For, Then?”

Elon Musk has once again ignited controversy online, mocking the U.S. Department of Justice and FBI after they released a two-page memo dismissing rumors surrounding convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

In the memo, officials stated there is “no credible evidence” that Epstein maintained a “client list” of high-profile individuals, nor that he blackmailed powerful figures. The DOJ reiterated Epstein died by suicide in his Manhattan jail cell in August 2019 — a conclusion in line with medical reports — and that surveillance footage shows no third-party involvement.

Shortly after the memo’s release, Musk posted a digital image of a clock reading “0000” with the caption: “Number of pedophiles arrested in connection with Jeffrey Epstein.”
He sarcastically added: “What time is it? Oh look, it’s ‘no one’s been arrested’ o’clock again.”

In a follow-up post, Musk took direct aim at the DOJ’s conclusions:
“Well… uh… so what exactly did Ghislaine Maxwell go to prison for?” he wrote on X, referring to Epstein’s former partner who was convicted for grooming and trafficking underage girls for the late financier.
“Stuff like this doesn’t help build public trust in government,” Musk added.

Trump-Musk Feud: Epstein Files Claim Sets Internet & D.C. Abuzz

The FBI memo also stated that no further investigations into unnamed individuals would proceed due to the lack of solid evidence, despite years of speculation and internet theories surrounding Epstein’s supposed “black book” and ties to elites.

Musk’s mockery comes amid his ongoing political spat with President Donald Trump. Just last month, Musk controversially accused Trump of having ties to Epstein in a now-deleted social media post, stating the former president’s name appeared in related records. Musk later walked back the accusation, saying he regretted letting his emotions get the better of him.

Trump, for his part, has long denied any wrongdoing related to Epstein. Even before his re-election in November 2024, Trump publicly stated he had “no problem” with the release of Epstein-related documents and insisted he had never flown on Epstein’s plane or visited his private island.

Did Elon Musk Have Links to Epstein? - The Daily Upside

Once close allies, Musk and Trump have drifted apart. Musk, a major donor to Trump’s re-election campaign, had been tasked with helping reduce government spending. However, tensions escalated after Musk criticized a Trump-backed spending bill, which the president signed into law last week.

On July 5, Musk announced the formation of the America First Party, aimed at disrupting the current two-party system. Trump dismissed the move as “ridiculous”, warning that third-party efforts have “never worked” in U.S. politics and would only create more division.

The timing of Musk’s outburst — days after announcing his own political party and right after the DOJ tried to close the book on Epstein — signals that this high-stakes drama involving tech billionaires, politics, and elite scandal is far from over.
