The start of the 2025-26 NBA season is a little over two months away but some of the key dates for next season were announced on Friday.

According to Charania, the Nuggets will host the Minnesota Timberwolves as the final game on Christmas Day that can be watched on ESPN.

Of course, this matchup will feature some of the NBA’s brightest stars as Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray and Aaron Gordon will face off against Anthony Edwards, Rudy Gobert and Julius Randle.
For the Nuggets, they will enter next season expected to be one of the top teams in the Western Conference after they added Cameron Johnson, Bruce Brown and Tim Hardaway Jr. to their roster this summer.
Denver is coming off an impressive season that saw them finish fourth in the West with a 50-32 record.
The Nuggets then went on to defeat the Los Angeles Clippers in the first round of the playoffs in seven games before being eliminated by the eventual champion Oklahoma City Thunder in seven games in the second round.
On the other side, the Timberwolves finished sixth in the West last season with a 49-33 record and they were able to eliminate both the Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors en route to reaching the Western Conference Finals for the second consecutive season.
Despite this, Minnesota fell to the Thunder in five games during the Western Conference Finals and they will look to take another step next season.
Minnesota and Denver have also had their fare share of battles over the past few seasons and they could be heading towards another classic on Christmas Day in 2025.
